(Card) Progress meter: How to enable it for desktop

One of my templates saves progress as viewed in the smartphone view, but other templates do not.  Is there a setting to save progress?

The mobile layout and the desktop layout for cards are not exactly the same thing.

The mobile card layout will always show the progress at the bottom.

However the desktop card layout will only show the progress if it is enabled. You can enable/disable this as you like:

Moreover, if you would like your card form to save its progress so that your users can come back later to finish filling it out, that is also possible:
