Hi
We want to send JotForms out to our learners and we like the look feel and simplicity of your product - we are collecting more text than just feedback - so once we get their completed submission back we have to check it - and pass it on to another person to add additional comments
What is the preferred method to do this please?
I can see export to CSV/Excel (but this isn't ideal as text content makes it v.wide) and PDF would have to be edited, which can be tricky - so is it possible to pass on a completed Jotform which has been submitted for another of our team to read and edit - e.g. add extra words then save?
Thanks
Dave

Hello Dave,
From what you have just mentioned, you want to send a partially completed form to another person in order for them to complete the remaining sections and submit the form. Is that correct?
You could check out this workflow guide that we have put in place. This would necessarily require more than one email notification to be set up, such that after a section is completed and submitted, the form is sent to another recipient to complete, save and submit the form.
Here is the guide for reference: A-General-Approach-on-Building-an-Approval-Process-Workflow.
Hope this helps.

Hi
Thank you for your quick response
I'm not looking so much for just a sign off - just the ability to add to the content sent in the submission
e.g. blank areas reserved for our comments, which we then add to
Thank you
Dave

This guide provides a basic guide to send forms between persons by providing an edit link. You can avoid the requirement to approve/reject submissions.
What you can do is:
1. First, you can allow multiple users to update a submission using the edit link. Here's a guide about it: How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date
2. Now you want to send the email alert with the edit link to different users based on an answer, you can also hide different sections of the form. This is possible by using conditional logic. To learn more about it, here's the general guide: Conditional-Logic-for-Online-Forms
To change the recipient or to direct the email alerts to different people or departments, here's a specific guide using conditional logic: How-to-Send-Email-Based-on-User-s-Answer.
Hope this helps.
