Square recurring payment: Need to add a coupon code to Sell subscription payment type

I have attached my Square account to the form. However, I can't find how to allow a discount or promo code to be entered. And I also don't know how to offer payment options.

I have verified that you are using "Subscription" for your payment type, the coupons can be set up if the payment type is "Sell Products". You can try to set up your payment options again and change the payment type.

However, I'm not selling products. I'm selling subscriptions. I need the coupon on the subscriptions. some of the options I need include recurring... like monthly. And I need a coupon code option. There must be a work around? It would be crazy not to!

I can see in your form "Weight Loss Coaching Registration", you have set up the Payment type to "Sell subscriptions".

Sorry, but it seems adding a coupon code via the payment settings is currently not there for Square recurring payment. This is available only when you select the Payment type as "Sell Products". If you need the coupons feature for the 'Sell Subscriptions' payment type, they are currently available for Stripe, PayPal Standard and PayPal Pro integrations.

Let me escalate this to our back end team as a feature request. We will not be able to provide an ETA at the moment, but we will keep you posted on updates via this thread.

Meanwhile, you could try the above payment integrations, or change the payment type to "Sell products" on your current integration.
