Two URL populated links in a notifcation email

    I have two forms:

Form 1: Company fills out ready for the customer (https://eu.jotform.com/201471608886361)
Form 2: Customer reviews the information and send s it back (https://eu.jotform.com/201636246665357)

I have successfully pre-populated the forms. The purpose of the forms is to book service days and to ensure site speed is sufficient, I have only added 20 days where our customers can book services. Sometimes our customers will require 20+ days.

In this case, I have conditioned form 1 to show the first 20 days, then re-route to show information for the remaining days. For example, if the customer requires 25 days, we will fill out form 1 for 20 days, then when they submit the form, the 'thank you' page re-routes them to a pre-populated Form1 URL where it displays 5 days remaining. This means that the customer will receive 2 emails for Form 2.The first email will direct them to review and approve the first 20 days and the second form will ask them to review the remaining 5 days. (feel free to test it - in Form 1, just put in a number between 20-40 in the 'How many xx days are required' on page 2). I have already managed to condition all of the above so far.

My question is: if Form 1 is filled in with 20+ days, is there a way for the customer to to receive a link taking them to Form 2 with the information for 20 days, then when they press submit, it automatically takes them to review the information for the remaining 5 days.

The workflow would look like this for 20+ days (example):

    1. Form 1 - 25 service days required. Fills out the first 20 days.
    2. Submit Form 1 (20 days)
    3. Redirects to pre-populated Form 1, with the same customer information, but only showing the remaining 5 days that need further details
    3. Submit Form 1 (5 days)
    4. Customer receives a notification for (Form 2) with the first 20 days
    5. When customer submits the first 20 days, it takes them to the second part with the information for 5 days.
    6. When Form 2 for 5 days is submitted, the PDFs reports are returned back to us in the same email. (I haven't completed the PDF documents just yet).

Is the above possible? Perhaps, I could create a calculated field that carries the URL for the remaining 5 days to Form 2? Would that work?

If this workflow isn't possible, please can you advise of another work around. I would also accept having two links within the customer email - one taking them to Form 2 (20 days) and another link taking them to Form 2 (5 days) and asking them to fill out both.

I look forward to your relply.

I believe this is possible with passing form data to another form. However, the form is designed as a table, but these are all separate fields and aligned with custom CSS codes. Passing these fields may give you an error related to the length of the URL.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/351-How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form

I'm not quite sure if you or my colleagues already mentioned this, but why not consider using our Configurable List widget for dynamic rows?

    https://www.jotform.com/help/282-How-to-Set-Up-the-Configurable-List-Widget

If you can't use the configurable list widget, my suggestion would be to attach a PDF copy of the submission to the user, so instead of passing the data, they can just review it through the PDF document.

    I hope that helps.

As I have already stated, I have successfully passed the forms from one to the other. I even suggested that you test it and you would have seen this was possible if you did that.

I don't think you understood what I said, but you can close this case.

Sorry about that. Our colleague meant to avoid the truncation of values when the prepopulated URL is accessed due to the browser limitation of 2083 characters. We are glad to see that you have already populated the values successfully to the form URL.

I have tried sending a test submission to the first form with 25 days and have received an email with the prepopulated link to the second form. As I sent the submission to the second form I have received an email with the PDF document and it did not redirect to the form again for the remaining 5 submissions as you mentioned in #5.

I think you may redirect the second form again by setting up a condition using the field 'How many Audit - if more than 20'. However, this way you'll be receiving two submissions for the same customer.

If you need any further help or referring something different, please let us know. We will be happy to take a look again.
