Stop a spam email from ONE person

    Hi,

I posted about this a week or so ago.

I've got this one person - eric@talkwithwebvisitor.com - sending us sales emails through one of my JotForm forms.

Someone suggested I set up conditional formatting so that if the email address contains "talkwithwebvisitor.com" the rest of the form would be hidden.

I did this, and the conditional formatting is active, but today we got ANOTHER submission from this email address!

Its a well known address for being a spam site, there's stuff all across the web about it. The submissions come from a different IP each time so I can't block that.

Any advice? Can JotForm perhaps block an email address on a global level?!?

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us.

I would suggest you enable the Unique Question or the Unique Submission feature on your form. The unique question feature prevents the respondents from entering the same value to the field. If you set the email address as the Unique question, users won't be allowed to enter the same email address again.

The Unique Submission prevents form respondents from making multiple submissions in a form.

I hope this will help. Please give it a try and let us know if you need further assistance.
