Subscription questions

    Good evening!

My school is interested in purchasing a subscription for JotForm. We are planning to use JotForm to survey the students in selecting their electives for the upcoming school year. We want the students to use the form to rate the classes they want from their 1st choice to their 5th choice in order of preference.

We would like to know the following:

    • What are the different features of each subscription?
    • Are we able to limit one form submission per student?
    • What are the limits of form submissions?
    • After the subscription ends, will we have access to the form submissions by the students?
    • Are there any features that you suggest that we will need for this type of form?
    • We may have questions in the future, is there an option to speak by phone rather than email?

    Thank you, Danielle Klahr

    Greetings,

    Thank you for your interest.

Regarding "We may have questions in the future, is there an option to speak by phone rather than email?"

Currently we do not currently offer phone support, but are more than happy to help you here. You may ask your question at this support ticket and we would gladly assists you.

Regarding "What are the different features of each subscription?"

AS You already know, you can start creating your form now. JotForm has multiple subscription options, including a free plan. Free users have access to all of the same features as paid users, but with lower limits on form counts, form submissions, form views, upload space and submission storage. To check out the different options, visit our Pricing page https://www.jotform.com/pricing/

Regarding "Are we able to limit one form submission per student?"

There are ways to prevent duplicate submissions.

#1. Unique Submission: You can take advantage of our unique submission feature to block multiple submissions from one system of one IP address by setting the "Check Cookies Only (Loose check)" or "Check Cookies & IP address (Strict Check)" respectively. Here is a guide to help you set unique submission:  http://www.jotform.com/help/64-How-to-Set-Unique-Submissions-on-a-Form

#2. Unique Question: You can also use our unique question feature to prevent from submitting duplicate submissions. Example: You can set one of your forms question (like cell number or email address) to be a unique question. This will not allow a user to use the same cell number or email address to submit your form. Here is a guide to help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/223-How-to-set-Form-Limits-Based-on-a-Unique-Question

Regarding "What are the limits of form submissions?"

JotForm has pretty much any type of Form Fields you might need. Take a look at the complete list and get a brief description of each one of them https://www.jotform.com/help/46-quick-overview-of-form-fields

Regarding "After the subscription ends, will we have access to the form submissions by the students?"

When downgraded to Free plan, you can only view your most recent submission and the other submission data and forms will be archived and your account most likely will become overlimit, thus the account and forms will be disabled.

Regarding "Are there any features that you suggest that we will need for this type of form?"

You might want to look at our Polls or Voting form templates, perhaps the form that you're looking for is already there.
