Hello all,
In the Auto responder email I receive, the pdf attachment of the confirmation is not taking in the Name of the person who filled out the form, but rather gives me random numbers.
See the below screenshot (yellow). I would like to name the file, taking info from the person who filled out the form and the name of the brand. Showing, all Hungarian letters and not skipping any letter.
Where in the auto responder edit can I control how the file name will be presented?
Many thanks

Hi,
You can change your PDF filename in your PDF Editor. Below are some steps you can follow:
You may go to the form builder and choose PDF Editor.Next please choose layout settings icon.
Under layout settings, you may proceed to changing your PDF File name.
And here is the link on how to change PDF attachment filename:

Hope this helps. -

Thanks for this, very helpful.
Would the file name also recognize letters from other countries? I.e. Hungarian letters, without skipping any letters?

Hello,
I just tested the form and I received the auto responder confirmation email.
I have changed the file name as you have shown me but this is what I am getting now?
Do you know why that is?
Thanks a lot

Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to us.
The file name should be able to recognize letters from other countries without skipping any letter.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Hi there,
I have tried to replicate your concern and it seems like it is not really recognizing the non-latin characters. Right now, special characters on PDF Document filename are converted to a hyphen automatically "-".
I have forwarded your concern to our developers as a feature request on your behalf.
Although we cannot guarantee that it will be implemented anytime soon, please be assured that once there is an update about the request, we will notify you in this thread the soonest.

Oh I understand. Thanks so much for clarifying.
Is there a way to remove the PDF file as a whole? So no attachment is included?
Many thanks

And as mentioned previously, it is not recognizing letters as a whole. Whatever I put in the field as a brand name is shown as:

Hi there,
I have tried to replicate your issue a while ago but it is showing letters on my pdf attachment
Can you please provide me the submission ID involved in this?

I can see on my end that you've successfully removed the pdf attachment for your form.

Hi Sheena,
Here is the submission ID: 5182467444123058324

Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to us.
I have cloned your form and did not replicate the issue. I've cleared the cache of the form to refresh it. In the meantime, could you access this submission via a different browser to check if the name of the attached pdf file is still the number you sent?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
