I created email column - but how to I tell it to email the form submitt

I created email column - but how to I tell it to email the form submitter? It emails me instead?

You would have to create an AUTORESPONDER email and you have to add an email field to your form.

The AUTORESPONDER will use the email field as its Recipient Email.
