How to clone a form with the approval workflow on it?

    Dear Sirs,

I have cloned a form from one Jotform account to another, however the approval workflow cannot be copied to the new account, is this the design of Jotform, or I have missed out some steps to copy the approval workflow.

    Thanks

    Hi AsiaPlaza,

Thanks for contacting JotForm support. I'm afraid cloning the form through the URL will not clone the approval flow. I recommend moving a clone, which we can do for you, instead. Please create a clone of the existing form in the same account that you wish to move, then create a form move request. Don't forget to let us know the specific form ID you'd like to transfer and the username or email address associated with the destination account. Please also make sure to create a move request from the account where the form is located.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Thanks for your rapid reply, with the function "form move" will delete the form from the original user account, so I need to create a clone first in the original account and then move the cloned form to another account. Is that what the procedure?

Besides, I noticed that the picture (actually is a QR code) I used in the original form cannot be moved to the new account, is there any method to locate back the picture?

Username in the original form was Tinapy and the new account username is Asia_Plaza, I have renamed the username in the href but the QR code cannot be shown. Actually my question is "is there any way to locate the name or link given to the png file in the new account".

    Hi Asia_Plaza,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes, that is how moving a form works, you make a clone that is a copy and we move the copy to the new account.

Also, this QR code, was it generated in the form? Else you can just use Jotform to generate a new one on the cloned&moved form.

I don't understand what you mean with "is there any way to locate the name or link given to the png file in the new account". Could you please elaborate?

    Awaiting your answer.

    With friendly regards!

    Hi Dear,

I believe the uploaded QR code https://www.jotform.com/uploads/Asia_Plaza/form_files/222601195093451_1663492523_qrcode_muse.png was stored in

    a location "uploads/Asia_Plaza/form_files"

and the file was given a filename "222601195093451_1663492523_qrcode_muse.png"

May I know how can I store back the QR Code in the designated location of the new account

    Thanks and regards,

    Hello Asia_Plaza,

I assume that you're referring to the qr code below. Try to remove the QR code image and reupload it. Doing this has updated the file's location on my end.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Dear,

I upload again the picture and re-generate the code and it works.

    Thank you very much.
