hello! is there a way to have the unique question field like on a timed basis? for example, if we want people to be able to resubmit the form once per month (but not more than once per month), can it be auto-reset monthly? or is there a manual way to do that?

    Hi Reed,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm not sure if I understand the question clearly, do you mean by letting the user update their submission at a later date just in case you'll need additional information? Kindly take a look at this guide and see if it meets your requirement.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

    hello!

that's not really what i mean, but it's still good to know!

basically, we offer a free product and want to limit form submissions from the same person/address. using the unique field question for address, we can make sure that there is only one response submitted per address. as i understand it, that would mean once an address is used, it can never be used again. the only issue with that is that we want people to be able to re-submit the entire form once a month, just not *more* than once a month. does that make sense? i want to know if there is a way to reset or refresh the unique field so that anyone who submitted a form last month can submit a new form this month.

    thank you!

    Hello Reed,

Thank you for patiently waiting. I understand that you want your users to only submit a submission once per month and if they submitted more than one submission with the same data, it will prompt them an error. Unfortunately, we do not have the option to automatically enable/disable this feature. If you want your users to be able to submit a form for next month, you can first download your submission data and then delete the previous entry of a specific person so they will be able to submit again.

Let me show you how you can download your data from Jotform Tables in CSV, Excel, or PDF format:

    • On your My Tables page, next to the form with the submissions, you want to see, click on View Table.

    • Hover your mouse over the Download All button on the right side of the page.
    • Now, choose CSV, Excel, or PDF format and download your data.
