Multiple donations in one form connected to PaypalAsked by yaronkes on February 23, 2015 at 04:19 AM
been trying to create this kind of form https://www.jerusalemu.org/donations which includes mutiple donations options and "other" option letting user fill out his preferred amount. all are connected to paypal. i understand it involves conditions and iframe widgets... will be happy to get a visual step by step guide... tnx!
I think you can only accomplish this using multiple forms. So first, for the one-time donation, I would suggest using our Radio Button field so you can enable Other section.
Then use our calculation widget to get the total: https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form.
Then send the total to the payment field: https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field.
Now, for the recurring donation. You can do it by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/166-How-to-setup-a-recurring-payment-option. Do this into a separate form.
Then, you can combine both the form into one form by using the method in this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/182-How-to-Create-a-Basic-Multiple-Payment-form.
Let us know if you have any trouble following the steps.
