Edit submission: Edit form link shows hidden fields?

I have several hidden fields on a form where information is populated from a prior form. When the user fills out the form, they are hidden, as they should be.

However, when a user clicks on the link to edit his submission, those hidden fields are all visible.

    Thanks, Carl.

    Hello Carl,

It is only shown to the form owner. People who submit your form cannot see the hidden fields by clicking the edit submission link.

You can check these user guides to learn more about autoresponder and notification e-mails:

I hope these help. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us anytime.

Thank you for the reassurance that only the owner can see the fields - I was ready to remove the edit form link.

Is there a reason that I'm missing for the inconsistency between what an owner sees when filling out the initial form (no hidden field) and editing a form (hidden fields seen)? For testing purposes, it's useful to replicate the user experience and not see hidden fields in either case.

Thank you for your feedback. This is an implementation decision. Because of you are the owner of your form, it is considered as you should see all the fields while you are editing the submissions.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach us anytime.
