Also I would like to know if we can use the same form on more than one device?  The devices will all be offline. We plan to download and merge the .xl files after the event.

Are you planning to fill and complete the forms offline on more than one device i.e. laptop, desktop? If yes, then it can be done using a workaround by creating a fillable PDF form. Convert your form to a PDF Form and have the users fill it any time and on any device that can read PDF documents. The user will only need an internet connection when they wish to submit the form and click the submit button.

Refer to this guide: How to Create a PDF Form.

If you are using mobile devices, may I suggest using the JotForm Mobile form app for this purpose? In this case, you would not need to create a PDF form.

Here are a few related guides for using Mobile forms app:

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Gerard

I looked at the links you sent previously and am still stuck.  I need a response that tells me exactly how to access the form I have created from a mobile phone that we will be using offline at an event.

I met with my team today and after reading your response we are still frustrated.

    1) We managed to download Jot Form Mobile App on the phone, but my colleague was unable to access the form and turn it into a kiosk. The form we eventually accessed was via email which could be submitted only once.

Searching for the template from the Jot Form Mobile App didn't work. We are trying to access the form at the robyn@disabilityconnect.org.nz   This is where we want to send a copy of submission to.

    2) The form worked fine on my tablet and I was able to demonstrate it as a kiosk under my account.  But the My Forms page doesn't give me the option to convert the form Connect's Transition Expo Spot Prize Draft to a pdf.

FYI We are also wanting to test downloading the submissions in an .xl spreadsheet so w can load them in our database. But we haven't been able to do this yet because of the previous problems.

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Mike

    1. Are you referring to one of these forms?

    https://www.jotform.co/form/92398398725880

    https://www.jotform.co/form/92356752358870

What is the issue when you try to set it in kiosk mode? Do you see any error?

    2. I'm not sure you can do that from mobile app, you can do it from the web.

Regarding the exporting to Excel from submissions, here is how to do it: https://www.jotform.com/help/44-How-to-Export-Form-Data-to-Excel

But you'll have to do it from the web as well. From the mobile application, you can only download as PDF.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you!

I can open the form in kiosk mode but it can't submit it when offline.

Thats my point.  I want to be able to complete the form and save it offline. then upload the data later.

So once I have the downloadable pdf form do I have to make multiple copies of it?  This is confusing.

    Thanks

Did you enable the Offline Mode for those two forms on your app?

If yes, what happens when you try to submit the form in Offline mode?

Submissions can only be downloaded as PDF from the Mobile app.

So once I have the downloadable pdf form do I have to make multiple copies of it?

Are you referring to Fillable PDF Forms? Please note that this is a different feature that is not related to the Mobile Forms app.

A PDF that you can download from the Mobile app is a PDF submission report, not a Fillable PDF Form.

You can find more about Fillable PDF Forms, inside of the following guides:

In my previous reply, the part after the youtube video is not properly shown, so I will post it again.
