I am trying to provide a list of existing Customers that the order entry person can choose from.
In the Form
https://form.jotform.com/202806468211047
There is the Existing Customers field. I have used a downloaded CSV file then copied and pasted the data from that into the Options of the Dropdown. It does work but it is very manual and tedious to do if you want to keep the dropdown selections fairly up to date.
Do you have any other suggestions to achieve the same goal.
Chris

Hello Chris,
I understand that you have a list of existing customers in your form. We have a Spreadsheet to Form Widget which will work amazingly for you. You can allow users to enter their name and then autofill their personal information.
I want to suggest you add a single option field and ask the user if he is a new or existing customer. Based on the user's answer, you can show relevant fields.

I hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thany you. That does work if the existing customer is entered exactly including capitals but does not give the ability to select from a dropdown list. So that won't work well for us.
Any other suggestions?

Hi Chris_Bartlett,
Unfortunately, this is not possible. You would have to manually write the data in the options of the drop-down.
If you want, we can add a feature request to our system and once this option is added, we will inform you via this thread. But, I'm afraid, we can not promise any timeframe for this.
Let us know if you want to proceed.
Thanks.

Hello Chris,
If I understood you correctly, you want to prefill your form fields based on the selected existing customer.
I think the suggestion of my colleague @Zahra_S is the nearest way to achieve your requirements.
That does work if the existing customer is entered exactly including capitals but does not give the ability to select from a dropdown list.
We can add a dropdown list that contains the existing customer, add a calculation value to it, and use this calculation value as our Unique Code. This Unique Code will help identify each data row we want to appear on the form. By doing this, we will not worry about whether we enter the existing customer data correctly.
