Send reminder if only form 1 is completed

    Hi,

To reduce the bouncing rate, I set up 2 forms.

The first form collects only the minimal info and when the user hits submit, the second form (so the full form) with the pasted data from form 1 is launching.
That works well, but sometimes people stay at stage 1 and don't completely form 2,
but I have theirs minimal data (name, email, phone...) I can contact them directly to ask them to fill out the form, but I would like to set up an autoresponder with a link to finalize the form that has already the form 1 info filled out, so the user just has to finish where it stops...

    I saw the following post

How to send reminder emails for uncompleted surveys and forms? (jotform.com)

But I'm not sure how I can make it works with my 2 forms case.

And here's my form: Euterpa Studios - Contact Form (jotform.com)

    thank you

    Hi again,

Thank you for your patience as I looked into a potential solution for you in regards to this!

As you noted in the thread How to send reminder emails for uncompleted surveys and forms?, you could certainly set up a conditional Auto-Responder to send based on whether or not some fields have not been filled, but this would need to be on your second form if I'm not mistaken?

So, to clarify: you have the emails and information from the first first form (https://form.jotform.com/euterpastudios/contact-form-1) and then this directs them to your second form? Is the second form URL https://www.jotform.com/form/201165216345346 correct?

And you're sending them to the second form using URL parameters?

If you could clarify the above points this would help in our solution for you.

    Thank you!

    Hi there!

To make sure both forms are filled here is what you can do.

    • Use the assigned form option to assign the for to who needs to fill those forms. The downside of this option for some setup is that the form respondent will be required to create a free JotForm account.

    Guide: adding-assignees-to-your-form

    • Automatically redirect the respondent to the second form using the Thank you page redirect option. (This option lets you pass data from the previous form to the second one. You can also add the prepopulated link to the first form's autoresponder template so the respondent gets an email with the second form prepopulated URL that he/she will click to fill.

    Here is a demo: https://form.jotform.com/210523996157057

Please test the demo for a better understanding of this solution.

The solution on that forum thread you shared doesn't apply to y our case because we don't have a way to trigger a reminder email if someone hasn't filled or submitted a form.- That solution would work if let's say someone submits the form and left some fields empty, and not if the form wasn't submitted at all.

I hope my answer was helpful. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards,
