Fill/sign the form without needing to log in/create account or download the app?

Hi there,

I can't understand how can I send an email with a link or share the link to someone without the person needing to download the Jotform app or create account in order to fill in the form?... 

I've tried sharing the link etc., but it still asks to download an app or create an account!

If I understand your concern correctly, you've shared the form with someone, however, they're not able to open the form without logging in, is that correct?

If so, well, that's actually the normal behavior of our forms. If you don't want them to log in or create an account, set the form to Public. Once done, you can set it back to Private or disable it.

Yes, that's correct. I've actually trialed sending it to my other email
address and it's asking to either create an account or download an app from
my phone.
Right, okay. And while it's set on Public, who is able to view the form?...
is it public to anyone who is registered with Jotform?... how does it
work?.. its not the ideal situation to have it public when clients are
signing the documents though.
Is there any other way around it? More simplistic way?..
Clients don't want to spend time creating an account in order to fill a
document for me. Which is understandable if they are using it only once.

Hi there,

I assume you've set your forms to Private and shared them via the Invite by Email field.

If someone needs to fill out your form regularly, such as people who report to you (e.g., staff members, agents, maintenance team), that is the setup to use to assign the form to them. Each invitee will have their own Submissions Page where you can monitor the entries they've collected.

If you only need to share the form with your customers/users for them to fill out, you only need to share the form's URL provided the form is set to Public - anyone who knows the form's URL would be able to view your form.

If your concern is with the general public being able to view your forms, your option would be to password protect your forms.
