Saleforce Integration is not working

    Hi,

I've attempted about 20 submissions of a form with salesforce fields mapped and it has never made it through. I've tried legacy and the regular versions and I've cleared the cache and I've deleted and reconnected the integration and I've tried with just standard fields and with custom fields. Absolutely nothing has ever worked.

    Hi there,

I am sorry for the trouble caused to you.

Salesforce integration on your Jotform seems to be connected normally. Are there any custom fields added in the Salesforce to map with the form fields? Could you try removing the custom fields from the mapping to see if that works? If the issue still persists, please try using minimum required fields to map with Salesforce to check.

Please check our Sales Force guide and ensure to have the same Leads list created on Sales Force side.

    Guide: Mastering-SalesForce-with-JotForm

Kindly give it a try and let us know if the issue persists. Thank you.

    Hi,

Thanks for responding, but I mentioned I did all of that in my original submission. Nothing works.

    Thanks.

I would recommend you to make sure you're mapping the same field types, for example, full name with full name, email with email, both should be the same field type on your form and your SalesForce list.

Also, try setting a label to the fields you're mapping:

Also note that the API access is required with Salesforce in order to integrate with JotForm. Please see the article below from Salesforce that provides you with more information about API access and Salesforce editions.

Thanks again, but as I mentioned...I have mapped everything properly. I mapped First Name to First Name, Last Name to Last Name and Email to Email.

I have many other programs integrating with my Salesforce Org, so it is not a function of this. For instance, Zapier works just fine with SF. Is there someone else who can help with this? I really need to get this form working.

    Thank You.

Your integration is not working, because you have enabled the encryption feature:

Some features such as integrations, PDF submissions reports, and form reports are not compatible with encrypted forms. Please check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/344-encrypted-forms-and-how-to-use-them/

Hi removed the encryption and now the submissions are scrambled and it still does not work with Salesforce. Is there something else I'm missing?

    Hi Matt,

Sorry to hear that the integration is still not working.

I've cleared your form cache. May I ask you to once disconnect the integration, re-enter your SalesForce credentials, and connect the integration again? This time as a test, you can map only a few fields, such as name and email. Then make a test submission on the form, and see if the data would be pushed to SalesForce.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Hi,

It did work 1 time with just a first and last name and email. However, when I went back in and put in the rest of the fields to map over, it doesn't work any longer - either updating a record or creating a new one.

    Hi Matt,

Thank you for testing this and getting back to us.

This sounds like some of the field types might be conflicting with each other.
Would you be able to send us a screenshot of the field settings in SalesForce, so that we can see what type each field is?
Here is how you can send us screenshots on the support forum:

Due to the amount of fields that are mapped, it is hard to find which field is causing the issue. Please try mapping by batches, you may map fist 10 fields, and test, then 10 fields more and test. If the integration stops sending after mapping a specific batch, then check the type of fields, specially these:

    • Dropdowns(including the ones from the Address fields)
    • Single Choice
    • Multiple Choice

The options listed inside these type Jotform fields must be also listed in the Salesforce fields. My suggestion when mapping these type of fields is mapping to Textbox Salesforce fields, since they accept any type of input.
