Is there a way to disable the form within a condition based the number of submissions?
If the there have been x number of submissions with answer y, then disable?

    Hi awkwordness,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, it is not possible to disable a form depending on the number of answers given. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform.

I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developer Team. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Alright thank you. Instead of disabling would this option exist with a different thank you message?

    Hi awkwordness,

Thanks for getting back to us and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. When you say disable, would hiding the submit button using condition work? I've created a Demo form to show you how it works.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hello Kim

Thank you for the demo. Would that work based on the previous number of submissions?

Example: if 10 people have clicked on this answer, then the 11th would have the submit button hidden.

    Hi awkwordness,

Thanks for getting back to us. As my colleague Bruce answered you above, it is not possible to disable a form depending on the number of answers given. Also, hiding the submit button using conditional logic is depending on the answer in every single submission. So you can not hide the submit button depending on the number of certain answers.

You can only automatically disable a form after a certain number of submission counts is reached. Like the screencast below:

Please let us know should you require further assistance. We are here to help.

    Alright.

I have noticed there is a submission counter widget. Do you think it 's possible to add a count for a specific answer in the form?

    Hello Awkwordness,

Thanks for getting back to us. The Submission Counter widget will only count the total number of the form's submissions. If there is a fixed list of "answers", you may want to consider using other widgets such as the Inventory, Gift Registry, Quantity Gift Registry, and/or the Weekly Appointment Planner widgets. All mentioned widgets will limit the number of times an "answer" is selected. If those don't work for you, please share more details about your use case, perhaps we can find another workaround.

Let us know if you need any more help.

Is there also a way to reject duplicate submissions (same name, same email, same appointment)?

    Hi awkwordness,

Thanks for getting back to us. You will need to purge the deleted submissions from the Trashed entries to make the slot available again. I moved your other question to a new thread and helped you with that here.

Reach out again if you need any other help.
