Can I require an acknowledgement to be ticked before the form can be submitted?

That response did not help. Can I enter text and require the user to tick a box to acknowledge they have read the text using the basic form elements so that it prints on the pdf form?

Perhaps what would help you is the Terms & Conditions widget.

To confirm that is a widget which will not print on a pdf form?

Are you referring to the fillable PDF version of your online form or the PDF copy of the submitted data on your form?

If the former, I'm afraid that widgets will not work with PDF Forms. Only basic form fields such as full name, phone number, long text, multiple-choice, etc will work.

But if you are looking to include the widget into the PDF copy of your form submissions, yes that would be possible to do on the PDF editor page.
