This little survey will help us both make sure your party is awesome!
Your time zone
What type of party would work best for you? Both types work very well!
45 minute FB Party (I start posting 3 days leading up to the night of the party)
2 day FB party (I start posting 3 days before the day of the party)
Please pick what day we should start your party.
Let's talk hostess duties! Your job is simple! Invite friends and have fun!
I like friends & fun!
I don't like friends
I don't like fun
Step 1: Make a list! Who do you want to invite? Make a list of about 40-60 people who might be interested in getting some amazing books for their kids. If you can think of 10 in each category below, you've got it!
Acquaintances (co-workers, people at church)
Kid connections (other soccer moms, other classroom/homeschool parents, mom's group, etc)
People not on facebook? We can also send them the website link to order and the virtual catalog!
Step 2a! Did you know there is a right way and a wrong way to invite friends to your party?? Choose the RIGHT way. Check all that apply. Doing it the RIGHT way will guarantee you will have a successful Facebook Party!!
Send a PERSONAL message asking your friend if they want an invite
Call your friend asking if they want an invite
Text your friend asking if they want an invite
Chat with your friend in person and ASK her if she wants an invite
ALL of the above are suitable "right" ways to invite
Step 2b: AVOID the wrong way! Did you know there is a wrong way to invite friends to your party?? Yikes! Which of these are WRONG?? Check all that apply.
Send a MASS message to all your Facebook friends and annoy them with hundreds of notifications
Send a MASS text to all your contacts inviting them to the party
Why ASK your friends?? Just go ahead and add them to the event.
ALL of the above are WRONG ways to invite! I like my friends and don't want to annoy them :)
Step 3: Have fun! Have you ever gone to a party where nobody is talking and everyone is just itching to leave? Lame, right? Well good thing we're not having that kind of a party! The best way to get other people to participate is for YOU to participate! How can you do this? Check all that apply.
Guests being wallflowers? Grab them by the virtual hand and get their booties on the dance floor!
When I post something, comment on it.
Tag friends in posts. They'll know you thought about them
You could say, "Hey Susie! Did you see this book? I think little Johhny would LOVE it!"
Or maybe, "Hey Sally! Get in on this fun and the chance to win a prize!"
Post a picture of your own kiddos enjoying books at home.
Share a pic with your favorite Usborne books. What are your faves?
Be your fun and fabulous self! Your friends love YOU and are here to hang out with YOU ;)
FYI: Hostess Rewards! Which of these sound good to you? Check all that apply.
Your party sales only need to get to $100 to start earning rewards.
The more sales your party has, the more rewards earned.
When your party reaches $400 and has 1 booking, you qualify for the Hostess special. Cha-ching!
When we're ready to close your party, I'll let you know what the sales were and what your rewards are. Then I'll send you another form for you to use to select your rewards.
Something to think about...Have you ever thought about being a book lady? If you decide to join my team BEFORE your party, you would get the sales, 25% commission, any parties booked, AND double hostess rewards! How cool is that? If you're curious about it, let me know. If not, no worries!
I'm curious, let's chat about this option
Want to earn FREE books before your party even starts?? Get at least 25 people to RSVP as "GOING" and I'll give you an extra $10 in free books when we close your party! Sound good?
Heck yeah! 25 people is easy peasy!
No I don't want extra free books
Let's do this!
